Vortis™ Pump Technology is based on an acoustic resonance pump that harnesses sound waves at a frequency out of the range of hearing for most humans. There are two of these quarter-sized pumps in each V.A.C.Via™ Therapy Unit and they are the means of delivering negative pressure that is virtually silent.
